Split tunneling (beta) for Windows

NymVPN now includes a new beta version of split tunneling on Windows: choose which apps you want to include in the NymVPN tunnel, and which you want to exclude.

⚠️This is a beta feature and is still in development. Let us know how it’s working for you.

What’s coming next for split tunneling on NymVPN

  • More split tunneling features are being developed for Linux and iOS for coming releases
  • A more advanced form of split tunneling is also being developed which will allow you to route specific apps through either the NymVPN Fast mode or Anonymous mode.
  • Learn more about how VPN split tunneling works

Introducing post-quantum keys for NymVPN

Nym is readying NymVPN encryption for the post-quantum future. Today we introduce the first phase of post-quantum security with a new key-exchange protocol called the Lewes Protocol for the Fast mode.

The Lewes Protocol not only improves security against post-quantum threats but also significantly improves NymVPN connection times and startup.

Read more about what the Lewes Protocol means for you.

Give it a try by simply toggling on Lewes Protocol in Settings.

⚠️The Lewes Protocol will go through a short period of testing in production for users who enable it before it is deployed as the default protocol for secure key exchange on NymVPN.
