You can pay for NymVPN using:

  • Cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Lightning Network (BTC-LN), Liquid Bitcoin (L-BTC), Liquid Tether (L-USDT), Litecoin (LTC), Litecoin MWEB (LTC-MWEB), Monero (XMR), NYM, Tether (USDT on TRON) and Zcash (ZEC),
  • Digital payments: Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal
  • Credit/debit cards: All major cards accepted via Stripe
  • Cash

Additional payment methods are added regularly.

Refund processing times vary by payment method. For card payments via Stripe, refunds typically take 5-10 business days. NYM token refunds can be processed instantly, but final settlement depends on blockchain network congestion.

Currently, NymVPN subscriptions do not auto-renew, so you will need to manually purchase another subscription when your current plan expires. Auto-renewing subscriptions with cards are planned for introduction in Q2 2025.

All payments to Nym are be visible in your financial history or on public blockchains. For card payments, our payment processor Stripe stores data necessary to process the transaction. With the 'zk-nyms' anonymous access credentials, your payment data cannot be linked to your online activity.

NymVPN subscriptions are available in EUR (€), USD ($), GBP (£), and CHF, with cryptocurrency payments also supported. Available currencies depend on your location and chosen payment method.

We regularly add new payment methods based on user feedback. Currently planned:

  • More stablecoin options and ERC-20 tokens
  • Mobile app store integration (in-app purchases)

New payment methods are prioritized by user demand.
