Here’s a breakdown of what’s changed with the new NymVPN v2025.12.

IPv6 support

On Linux and Windows apps, NymVPN now detects whether IPv6 is supported. A toggle in NymVPN > Settings has been introduced to notify when IPv6 support is not available and to disable.

Improvements to errors monitoring and statistics

New setting menu Privacy and data allows control of error monitoring and network statistics collection
[Linux & Windows] Network statistic collection capability and user toggle to enable/disable
Sentry error monitoring at daemon level which is controlled by the existing toggle in app settings. This is currently OFF by default.

Bug fixes

[MacOS & iOS] To issue with connection jumping
[Android] Fix for Back button returning users to login screen
Fix for delay in changing connection status while switching networks
Reduction of number of code paths to improve daemon performance
