Finney update #3: daily rewards are activated!

As promised our daily rewards are activated. You can check the status of your node using the following links, keep in mind that there’s a rate limit of 1 request per second for each link.

When are the rewards sent everyday?

Roughly at 2pm London time for the previous 24H measurements. Once sent you can see it on the explorer

How are the rewards calculated?

Rewards are calculated based on the node’s IPv4 and IPv6 uptime. A node with 100% uptime of both traffic types will get the full reward that is currently 1.09% of its bond (or in other words just over 1 HAL/day), and proportionally less if otherwise. Uptime is calculated as follows:

uptime = (ipv4UptimeRatio * nodeReport.lastDayIPV4 + ipv6UptimeRatio * nodeReport.lastDayIPV6) / 100

Where currently the Ratios are 50 for IPv4 and 50 for IPv6

So for instance a node with %50 IPv4 and 70% IPv6 uptime will have a total uptime of 60% that day:
(50 x 50 + 50 x 70) / 100 = 60%
and so its Reward = 60% x 1.09% x Bond
