Shipyard at a glance — in numbers
With the goal of improving Nym infrastructure and building the core community ahead of the NymVPN official launch, Shipyard saw phenomenal growth across the board — whether that was in new mix node or gateway operators, Innovation Fund applicants, or with the ballooning growth of on-chain activity for NYM token delegators and holders.

- 1,600+ active participants completing bi-weekly quizzes
- 1,500+ graduates from Level 2
- 500 Nymjas who graduated from Level 3, the most intense stage of Shipyard, with a specialisation track
- 60 new mix node operators
- 30 new self-organised community ‘squads’ and DAOs
- 10 new community grantees

Just a few of the incredible squads and DAOs to emerge from Shipyard
Shipyard is also leading to the creation of a permanent knowledge hub, plus a new community onboarding and education funnel, along with readying promising applicants for the Innovation Fund.
Discussions are underway for Shipyard in 2024 —stay tuned for updates, and see you there. In the meantime, join the Nym community, and sign up for the NymVPN waitlist to see all this hard work bear fruit.
