NymVPN v2025.13 is live, and much improved

Today, we are releasing NymVPN version 2025.13. This release includes some tweaks to the app UI to improve your experience, and significant bug fixes related to connectivity and stability. Here are the major changes, though there have been many other small ones paving the way to a more solid and operational app!

UI changes

Opt-in for anonymous network stats: We have now added a toggle to the welcome screen which allows you to control whether you share anonymous network statistics with us. This is up to you, but it will help us greatly improve the app in the future.
In-app account notification: We added options for users to purchase/renew a subscription on Mac OS, Windows, and Linux. You will receive a notification if your account has expired and options to renew.

Bug fixes

We made several significant bug fixes, which should greatly improve the stability and connectivity of our apps:

New gateway connection solution: Automatic reconnection to different gateways after two failed connection attempts.
Disconnecting problem: Fixed multiple issues that could cause NymVPN to get stuck in the "Disconnecting" state.
Connection improvements Fixed an issue where NymVPN could get stuck in a "Connecting" state.

What's coming next?

Over the next month, the Nym core team will continue to address connectivity and performance bugs, as well as implementing advanced anti-censorship features to enable NymVPN to be used in countries or on networks with high levels of Internet censorship.
