• Progress messages are now displayed below the Connecting button so you can see what’s happening and better understand if there are errors in the connection process

• Check out the new server screens which includes city, performance, and technical details so you can better select your preferred way in and out of the Nym network

Improved connections

Continual improvements have been made to connection and reliability:

• Daemon will now be auto-updated to improve connection reliability
• Change to improve gateway selection via the daemon

Building-in censorship resistance

The Nym team has laid the UX for new censorship circumvention features. While these features are not yet visible in the app, the infrastructure is now in place. These will soon be deployed for targeted testing before being made live in the coming weeks. Sit tight! The open internet is simmering on Nym’s stove.

October is censorship resistance month, so expect some big news about the future of NymVPN: soon we will be rolling out advanced anti-censorship features so people can use NymVPN in countries or on networks with high levels of Internet censorship.
