Update: NymVPN v2026.8 patched

Following a connection issue with the Anonymous mode discovered on 1 May 2026, new app versions were quickly released. The latest Windows app was patched on 4 May 2026.

Split tunneling (beta) for Linux

NymVPN now includes a new beta version of split tunneling on Linux: choose which apps you want to include in the NymVPN tunnel, and which you want to exclude.

⚠️This is a beta feature and is still in development. Let us know how it’s working for you.

What’s coming next for split tunneling on NymVPN

• Split tunneling for iOS is slotted for a coming release
• A more advanced form of split tunneling is also being developed which will allow you to route specific apps through either the NymVPN Fast mode or Anonymous mode.

Ad blocker (beta) for Android

Blocking ads is actually a VPN superpower when it comes to privacy: ads often function as spyware to track your behaviour across web sessions. NymVPN can now be a first line of defense.

Nym’s new beta ad blocker is now available on Android. You can toggle it on in Settings.
