We believe a decentralised privacy system will be operated, sustained and supported by people worldwide. They will shape our digital future for the better. Our ambassadors, Nymjas, will advocate for privacy, decentralisation, and a promising future.
Who can join the Nymja Ambassador program?
The Nym community is incredibly varied — we have activists and hacktivists, privacy experts who have been around for decades and token enthusiasts entirely new to privacy but keen to get in on the next big thing to shape our digital future. If you feel you can empower Nym’s vision & bring meaningful privacy to people in your region or globally — just do it!
Nymja criteria
- Strong understanding of Nym’s vision, products, and latest developments.
- You’re an active member of our community and understand our culture.
- Experienced in either marketing, community management, content creation, or DevRel.
- You’re passionate about privacy, proactive, supportive, a quick learner and have strong communication skills.
We expect Nymjas to grow and nurture our community, closely follow Nym’s latest news and events, and co-create a fun, supportive and collaborative environment for our ambassador team.
So at the end of the day, Nymjas could empower our next major milestones from high-speed mixnet & censorship-resistant gateways to privacy-preserving paid usage via zk-nyms and new PEApps!
Why join the Nymja Ambassador Program?

On initially joining the Ambassador Program, you will become a candidate. This role is an introduction phase where you will learn how the community works, showcase your contributions, see what’s involved, and get to know the other candidates and ambassadors.
As a candidate, from day one, you will have the chance, very practically, to write the next chapter of Web3 by contributing to the success of Nym. We encourage everyone who thinks that he/she/they could empower Nym to give the Nymja program a try. Share your bravest ideas on how to empower global privacy.

What are the next steps for the way if Nymja & how long would it take?
We believe transparency is the key to the Nymja ambassador program’s success. Here’s our vision:
2023 Nymja ambassador activation plan
Phase #1: Our team will conduct an internal application review & 1on1s with qualified Nymjas. Date: till the end of April
Phase #2: We will select the first Nymja candidates for an incentivised trial period. Date: April-end of May
Phase #3: Proven candidates will become full Nymjas & oversee the scalability of the Nym global community. Date: the beginning of June
Phase #4: We will scale our Nymja team (recurrent activations). Date: September & December 2023
