Today, the Nym team is releasing NymVPN v2025.14 for Windows, Linux, and Android. iOS and MacOS will be updated soon in the next release.

So what's changed?

Better UI messaging

  • We added progress messages on Windows and Linux, so you can see what the app is doing while it's connecting.
  • We now show messages in the UI when you either do not have a subscription or have exceeded your monthly bandwidth quota.

Bug fixes

  • Windows install: We fixed the installation issues on Windows, so you should now be able to install NymVPN without issues.

  • Assorted de-buggings: We fixed other minor connectivity issues with the Anonymous mode to make your NymVPN experience as smooth and stable as possible.

  • Building-in censorship resistance: We also continued laying the groundwork for censorship circumvention features. Sit tight, there’s big news coming soon!

What's coming next?

The Nym dev team is pushing ahead to address connectivity and performance issues**. But mostly importantly, we’re looking to the future of NymVPN: soon we will be rolling out advanced anti-censorship features so people can use NymVPN in countries or on networks with high levels of Internet censorship. Let’s work together to create an open and private internet, one bug fix at a time.
