Other VPNs use closed-source software, which means the code of the software can’t be seen by the public. This allows companies to embed things like spyware, cookies, and other data tracking protocols if they wish to, all without anyone knowing.

Nym is open source. Its software does not have any secrets, and neither does Nym when it comes to what it is building. Anyone can audit Nym’s software to see that there are no privacy-compromising elements.
