Mixing

Data mixing if a network noise technique used by Nym's noise-generating network. User data packets are mixed with those of other users. When your data packets are routed through the 3 mix nodes on the mixnet, they are “mixed” or shuffled together with those of other mixnet users. This makes it very difficult to correspond a user with their traffic and obscures patterns of communication. Entry and exit gateways do not perform mixing functions.
