NymVPN's launch saw the introduction of key features, including a kill switch and a gateway selector. Crypto payments now include Bitcoin, Monero, Lightning, Liquid, and USDT.

The dev team has its sights set on a** free trial version** of the app to allow people to test before purchasing, and split tunneling so you can customize your use of the two in-app modes. Ania’s team has also sketched a roadmap for making the app as censorship resistant as possible in 2025.

Robinson Jardin’s marketing team are preparing to launch Nym’s major paid ads campaign and affiliates program in the coming weeks. And the SEO team is grinding away to set the foundation for the exponential growth of organic traffic to nym.com.

The commercial version of NymVPN was officially launched on 13 March 2025 at the Frontline Club in London. The Nym core team with Chelsea Manning and Doctors without Borders spoke about the urgency of new privacy technologies like NymVPN, with Wikileaks, journalists, and privacy-advocates in attendance. Messari published their report on the Nym network for Q4 of 2024 following Nym's $1M token buyback. The network shows resilience and growth, with improved treasury holdings, in support of the going live of the perpetual NYM token buyback mechanism with the commercial launch of NymVPN.

Check out the upgraded Nym Explorer to find the Nym nodes you want to use and stake in. For the first time, the explorer enables staking from mobile (using Keplr wallet), and provides an overview of network traffic, trust, and performance scores for Nym nodes and more.

Nym Squad League: Winter Season has ended
